Weave-yonce and friends
"Deja Vu" by Beyonce is my new song. What is it with Beyonce songs? I sometimes don't like them at first, then they grow on me and next thing, it's my ringtone and I'm singing it all over the place.
So now I'm in this Beyonce mood. My top ten from Weave-yonce and friends (in no particular order):
1. Me, Myself and I - Beyonce
2. Check On It - Beyonce featuring some other folks (dip it, pop it, twerk it, stop it)
3. Deja Vu - Beyonce and Jigga
4. Baby Boy - Beyonce and Sean Paul (aka the "writhe on the floor while covered in oil" song)
5. Temptation - Destiny's Child
6. Bills, Bills, Bills - Destiny's Child (I don't agree with the song, but I still like it)
7. Independent Women, Pt.1 - Destiny's Child (How are you an independent woman, but want a brother to pay your bills, bills, bills?)
8. Crazy in Love - Beyonce and Jigga again (uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh, oh no no)
9. Bootylicious - Destiny's Child (I'm not all that bootylicious, but I can pretend when I listen to this song)
10. No, No, No, Pt. 1 - Destiny's Child (I always preferred this version to the much-faster one that came on the radio)
And even though the list is divided between Beyonce solo and Destiny's Child, I'd take Beyonce over Destiny's Child, I think.
